Reliable Clynical diagnostic and research tools

EvoLution-M is a sate of the art miniature laboratory mass spectrometer system, which can be located on a small computer trolley, on top of or underneath a laboratory bench. The system is housed in a stylish modern metal-framed case with formed vinyl front panel and a very small footprint.
The front panel has an integral LCD status display and can accommodate up to 10 inlets (optional extras) under software control. The system comes complete with a very powerful, dedicated Medical Application software package for real time breath waveform measurements and “breath-by-breath” exercise testing.
The software allows for calibration of up to eight input channels that may be configured as gas or external device inputs. This allows connection of user peripherals such as heart rate monitors or O2 saturation devices along with the dedicated flow-source supplied by ESS.
Very fast (50hz) monitoring of all selected input channels is possible along with user scaling of all gases and peripheral inputs, data storage, trending and digital result displays. Software also has facility for flow / volume calibrations and syringe pump volume checks along with automatic flow/volume integration form the ESS bi-directional flow source that is supplied with the instrument package.
Dedicated hospital format reports are generated with user inputs for patient demographics and Hospital departments along with pre-recorded spirometry results and predictions. Graphical output for exercise test is the standard “Wasserman-9” result plot format.

Software
EvoLution-M is equipped with a very powerful yet easy to use software package. The main modes of the software package are as follows:
Fast analogue trending of up to 8 signals in any combination of measured gas and external signal source.
Instantaneous flow / volume conversion from the dedicated ESS DP flow source (supplied) with waveform display and digital end-tidal volumes for both inspired and expired volume.
Basic analogue display also provides digital inspired and end-tidal values for Oxygen and CO2 providing suitable data for hyperventilation studies. Data collected in this mode is stored in CSV format for quick import to Microsoft Excel or similar.
Dedicated Breath-by-Breath Exercise test package
The software incorporates a comprehensive package for breath-by-breath testing under exercise or at rest. User inputs for all required patient demographics, atmospheric conditions and pre-test spirometry are included.
During each test graphical displays of:
- O2 Waveform
- CO2 Waveform
- VCO2
- VO2
Along with digital readings for:

Data Review A powerful data-review software package is included for exercise test. The package allows conversion of all test results to Excel format, report printing of key test results and patient demographics and the Wasserman-9 graphic print format as standard.
Graphical plots of Ve versus VO2 and HR versus VO2 are also included with user cursor positioning and least squares regression for Slope and Intercept results.
All results, including pre-exercise spirometry, predictions, hospital and patient demographic information and slope / intercepts are printed on a single A4 page summary.
Data sets can be opened, re-plotted and reviewed at any time from stored data
