The EcoSys range of systems is fully field portable mass spectrometer systems, which can easily be carried by an individual operator. EcoSys is a full specification instrument, and retains the full and complete functionality of a large laboratory based system.  EcoSys is a truly field portable system and is available with battery pack option for 8 hours operation in the field.

The system comes complete with a very powerful, yet easy to use software package, which offers fully quantitative analysis and has the capability to monitor up to 64 species in real time. In addition to this, EcoSys also identifies unknown compounds and offers detection levels down to ppb levels. The System can also operate in fully remote, unmanned mode by the use of a single telephone or cell phone connection. This link allows for control, servicing, and two way file transfer.

Comprehensive I/O facilities means that other parameters (e.g. Temperature and pressure) can also be monitored in relation to gas composition change, and the range of accessories available with EcoSys offers even greater flexibility and performance.

All EcoSys systems are equipped with Enclosed Ion Source (EIS) technology, which offers significant improvements over other systems in terms of improved signal to background ratios and sensitivity, allowing detection levels of 1ppb to be achieved.

Although portable, these systems do not compromise on performance or capability, and offer similar levels of performance to our GeneSys systems.

EcoSys has a NIST library filemaker option, allowing the user to identify unknowns. In another “world first” ESS is proud to introduce the “AquaProbe” for direct monitoring of VOC’s in liquids.
