RGA Upgrades: You can upgrade almost any existing ESS , VG, Hiden or Spectramass RGA with our wide range of cost effective enhancement products. Improve your system software, replace old and unreliable electronics, improve detection limits, improve your gas inlet system or increase your mass range whilst making significant savings over replacement purchases.
Minitorr II Electronics and Software upgrade:
Replace your existing control unit but retain your RF generator and analyzer with this cost effective upgrade. Powerful Windows software and ultra-fast parallel interfacing adds speed and power to your analysis and simultaneously removes reliability problems associated with older electronics. Available for VG Micromass PC, Sensorlab, Monitorr, Head Buffer, SX Range, SXP Range and Masstorr.
The RGA II for Windows software
If you have a VG Monitorr or Sensorlab product, you can keep the existing control unit and upgrade to RGAII for windows software. You can opt to keep the existing ISA interface card in your PC or pay a little more to convert the controller to fast parallel interfacing.
Update your RGA with a low outgassing mesh ion source or super-low outgassing platinum mesh source for true UHV applications
If you have a small analytical system with independent pumping you could upgrade to a fast capillary inlet for transient signal monitoring in applications such as catalyst and thermal decomposition. If you need to look at low level VOC's you could significantly enhance your detection levels with a membrane inlet upgrade.
Increase the mass range of any VG instrument from 100 amu to as much as 300amu with one of our RF generator mass range upgrades. This upgrade allows you to analyze higher mass species that would not have been possible with your existing mass range and offers very favourable costs when compared to instrument replacement.
Gas Analyzer Upgrades
This range allows you to enhance the performance of existing GeneSys, ecoSys, EvoLution and EvoLution-p instrumentation for application specific scenarios. Typical upgrades allow for multiple inlet operations, increased sensitivity, remote operation or task automation.
You can upgrade any existing system to multiple inlet operation under software control, choose to alternate between capillary and membrane inlets either manually or under software control or just change the inlet type to suit a new application. Capillary inlets are heated and offer rapid response and are unaffected by Halogens, Acids, Moisture, Particulate or Sulfurs making them ideal for stack monitoring or pilot plant applications. Membrane inlets offer increased sensitivity to VOC's making them ideal for low level monitoring such as ambient air applications. Either inlet type can be used in multiple inlet configurations with full software control if desired.
Increase the sensitivity and improve signal to background ratios with a gas tight ion source upgrade for systems originally supplied with open ion sources. Exclusion of the filaments reduces N2 and CO / CO2 backgrounds and direct sample delivery in to the ion source increases sensitivity.
Add a battery pack to your existing ecoSys system and get up to 12 hours of operation without a mains power source. The battery pack system can also be configured to charge whilst mains power is present and then act as a UPS in applications where continuous mains power supply is uncertain. A wide range of charging options is available including vehicle power adaptors.
If you have an existing ecoSys system you can take advantage of power adaptors for 24VDC and 12VDC vehicle power supplies either with or without a battery pack option.
We can upgrade any existing ESS instrument with powerful automation options. This system will allow you to provide interactive user controls such as buttons, MIMIC panels and dialogues for complex analytical operations. Control any function of the MS system automatically, interface with other devices or control multiple inlet systems. We will write packages for you based on a simple outline of the tasks to be automated.
