Upgrades

ESS offer upgrade packages for instrumentation manufactured by VG Quadrupoles, Fisons Instruments and some early Thermo systems.  Many of the control unit electronics for these instruments are now obsolete and it is becoming increasingly difficult to support them.

The performance of the Analyser heads for the instruments manufactured by these companies is of very good quality, and by upgrading to the InSight controller, you get a modern, powerful software suite, modern control electronics and a full refurbishment of your analyser at a fraction of the cost of a new RGA instrument.
